Day 94

Writer: Katie UnderhillKatie Underhill

OOOOOOOO I just learned a new trick in photoshop! I was scanning some photos for a client and one of them had texture. I had run into this before with some of our family's own pieces of history and it took forever to deal with and frankly I wasn't real happy with how it turned out. So, this time I thought there must be a better way! So, I turned to trusty old google to see what the great minds of the world have come up with. As usual, it took a little digging but I found an answer that worked for me and worked well! I will leave the link below to watch the very same video I found. I vaguely understand how this works, but not enough to explain. But it does, and it's awesome!

This is one of the original scans.

This was after I had scanned the images 180 degrees from the first time and put them together in photoshop.

This was after I ran the Photoshop plug-in. It's not perfect, but wow! The difference colored me impressed.

So there you have it, it's always a good time to learn something new. Learning is how we grow, and we are never too old for that.
